Short, short, short post.
A sign post, actually.
A week or so ago, I wrote a post about Michael Carnell’s story starter. It was part of the Story Circle series, a relay, four writers each time, each to write a part.
Michael’s beginner was all about lines, strange lines which no-one can see but a select few can sense. And those who sense them are compelled to f0llow them, fading as they do so, around and around and around the world. He’s got a fabulously inventive mind which you can explore in greater depth here at his blog.
So: Michael tagged me next. Erk. The responsibility lies heavy.
Cameron Garriepy is a top writer and storyteller whose books I would love to see climb the charts and hit the big bookshops; but she is also a gracious host. I’d like to thank her for all her tireless work for the writing community at large. We would all be much the poorer without her and her work with the visionary team at Write On Edge. If you are a writer and blogger, and you haven’t linked up, it is well worth doing so.
And now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m pottering off to codebreaking mecca, Bletchley Park, for a day off.
